Kriss has resided in the Bow Valley for 24 years with twelve of those years in Banff. Her deep connection to the Rockies has fueled her passion for painting mountain scenery and capturing the energy and beauty of the region.

Kriss’s love for nature was instilled in her from a young age by her father, Hal Eidsvik, who dedicated his life work to parks and protected areas.

Inspired by the renowned Canadian impressionist painter, Mike Svob, she has spent countless days painting and learning both in plein-air and in the studio with him.
